16th December 2008 (Tuesday)

Okay! I just finished math tuition, waiting for a few eps to load, so I think I'll blog a little - you know, update you guys on my fav songs so far? Well yea I'm not those who go with the flow, and honestly I'm not mad over Linkin Park or anything. And I don't have a favourite band.

It's simple. I like what I like - what resounds with me, and what appeals to me. That's what music is anyway. I hate stuff which bang around in your ears like SOS messages from dying singers; I'd rather sit one whole day listening to the morse code (even if I have no idea of what the hell the code may represent) than hearing a few minutes of (what I call) death-rock songs. Unless their lyrics are good and meaningful; I know some of Linkin Park's songs are very very meaningful. Songs such as "What I've Done", and I think there was one song sung by the Black-eye Peas or something, which talked about poverty and stuff like that (we heard it during one geog lesson). They're good people, those bands I mean.

Oh, and speaking of morse code...I'm pretty interested in it. Will surf the net later to check out on that. It's a really useful code to know XD and it's kinda fun too, if I learn it. Well, I will have 2 ways to convey secret messages to my friends after that: Japanese and the morse code. Yay! Gotta go check out the morse code! I can't bear to lose out on that.

They use a lot of morse (short-form) in Detective Conan. I hate listening to things when I don't know them - so why don't I take a step to know them more? Yippeee! Something new to learn. This code has always intrigued me tho I keep forgetting to learn it.

Irony.

Okay! Now for the top 5 songs on my fav list! I'll start with the easiest! The one and only English song! LOL!

I'm listening to the song and putting down the lyrics as what I've heard. So yup, english songs are easy, but Japanese songs...I'll try to type out the pronounciations too, and that includes some guessing of how to pronounce the kanji - I'll train my Jap listening skills.

Once In Every Lifetime (Eragon)
It's time to move out of the darkness
Use what you feel inside
Your faith alone will guide you
Feel the turning tide...
Ts in your heart
Ts in your soul
Don't be scared
Keep believing
I know you know
Deep inside
That your time
Has come...
*Chorus*
Once in every lifetime
If you do believe
Man can move a mountain
Change the course of history

How far...we've come
So far...
From home...
*Chorus*

Trust in your path you've been chosen
Become your destiny
Lead and they will follow you
Your truth will set you free...

Ts in your heart
Ts in your soul
Don't be scared
Keep believing
I know you know
Deep inside
That your time
Has come...

*Chorus*
Once in every lifetime
If you do believe
Man can move a mountain
Change the course of history

How far...we've come
So far...
From home...

Once in every lifetime
If you do believe
Man can move a mountain
Change the course of history

How far...we've come
So far...
From home...

*End*

Yay! I'm done for the first song. Oops time's up, I gtg do math. So...later then, to the next: JAPANESE SONG! OH NO! >.<>あなたがいるから, because it's too hard to listen to the song (the singer doesn't pronounce it very clearly) and I couldn't find the original lyrics.

Kay cya ppl! Bye!
